English sacred choral music connects us with centuries of history and spirituality. From the works of great composers such as Tallis, Byrd and Purcell, to pieces by composers closer to our own era, this musical tradition combines deep faith with beauty that touches the soul. Its harmonies, performed in cathedrals throughout the ages, create atmospheres that inspire peace and reflection. With this programme, Melifluo wishes to share some of the most beautiful pieces of this musical legacy with an invitation to enjoy a journey full of emotion, introspection and wonder.
The members of the recently created Melifluo chamber choir have extensive experience in choral music. United by a passion for singing, they explore and share the beauty of a diverse repertoire ranging from Renaissance to contemporary pieces. Their objective is to convey emotion and connect with the audience through harmony and interpretation. Melifluo represents their commitment to musical excellence and their love for this art form, offering performances that celebrate the strength and magic of choral music.
